FAN-COILS AND BIM
DYNAMIC HVAC BIM application is based on a dynamic approach that brings the specific parameters of HVAC equipment into BIM model, allowing a designer to evaluate the most efficient solution and quickly update his Revit MEP project.
This video represents how DYNAMIC HVAC BIM integrates our I-FCU software that relates to fan-coil selection.

Bring specific, real time parameters of chosen fan-coils as BIM model into your Revit project in short time. These parameters are calculated in our I-FCU software and brought in Revit as properties of Revit family.

With the aim of significantly saving the time in the design and decision making process, the graphic and computational rendering of DYNAMIC HVAC BIM allows that BIM model is updated according to the changes made in the project and/or to the equipment in real time.

This results in having the full control of HVAC design from the early design phase and saves more than the 80% of designers' time, compared to use of regular 'static/general' BIM models.

Why DYNAMIC approach is important?

•saves more than the 80% of time for designing and decision making, compared to use of regular 'static/general' BIM models.
•Many BIM objects of HVAC equipment have generic parameters (nominal values)
•Combining selection software and BIM, IDEA created a way of including all specific calculation from selection software, directly in BIM object.
•These parameters can be integrated directly in BIM compatible software like BIM vision, Revit, or saved in IFC file format.
IFC is an interoperation solution used in different BIM software. It allows to save all model information during transmission from different applications, designers etc.

In the presentation below, you can check all advantages of DYNAMIC HVAC BIM and how it is combined with BINI selection software.
